Over 130 business leaders recently attended the inaugural Almeda High-Performance Showcase in Bristol.
The brainchild of Almeda Managing Director Brady Savage George, he launched the event to bring inspiring speakers to Bristol to talk about wellbeing, nutrition and how to build high-performing leaders and teams.
Adam Walker – who is the first British person to swim the Oceans 7 (the toughest seven channel swims in the world) – was truly incredible as he spoke about his life, challenges during the seven swims, and how leaders can harness the power of their minds to achieve more.
Following the talk, there was a panel discussion featuring Brady, Vinny Patel, Gavin J Gallagher, Nick Elston, Gemma Rowland, and Phil Beard, that was hosted by Ash Phillips.
Embracing vulnerability, navigating tough times, the power of mentoring and collaboration and the power of health and exercise were all discussed by the panel.
The event was hosted at Osborne Clarke’s Bristol offices.
Brady comments: “This was the first High Performance Showcase and I am delighted to see it live and running. Our aim is to grow the event each year and end up with thousands of people coming to hear from the world’s best speakers. To say this first event was one big adrenaline rush is an understatement. Thank you to everyone attended and helped to organise the event.”
